Year Awards 2014–2015
The School Counselor of the Year Awards program
honors the best of the best—one counselor from every
level (elementary, middle, and high school)
National School
Counseling Week
February 2–6, 2015
Counselors may be nominated by school administrators, staff members,
students, and parents/guardians. The nominator must write a letter of
nomination (two page maximum) and use each of the five criteria listed
below. Nomination letters should be submitted to the principal.
Nominations must be made by Friday, March 6, 2015

 Instill in students a desire
to learn and achieve while
advocating for equity; and
