Tuesday May 10th 7:00 PM in the RCMS Cafeteria! Music can save a life. Music can change the world! The Rock Band students at Roberto Clemente Middle School in Germantown, Maryland are impacted by life-changing music. They learn to personally express themselves and share in the specialness of playing in a band. Rock Band students discover their gifts, talents, and self-worth through the innovative and relevant experience of playing rock and roll instruments in the Rock Band class! Now they want to share the power of music with others to change the world. “Rock The World” is Clemente’s international collaboration with students at the Hope & Brighter Future School in Kenya, Africa. Clemente Rock Band students will perform in a benefit concert on May 10, 2016 in the effort to raise $3,000 to buy instruments for Kenyan students, so that they too can experience the power of music to transform lives and lift the human soul. Join our musical partnership! Help us bring music to Africa! Donate your time, your treasure, your talent! We need you to help us rock the world! Tuesday May 10th 7:00 PM in the RCMS Cafeteria! “Clemente Music Rocks” at The Roberto Clemente International Baccalaureate Candidate School is part of the Rock-in Schools coalition to provide rock band instruments and curriculum to middle school teachers and students in Maryland’s Montgomery County Public Schools.
