will be performing in the Media
Center during lunch on Valentine’s Day, February 14!
November 15-19 was a week of game
playing during lunch in the Media Center. We were celebrating National Gaming Day, an annual event where libraries around the world encourage their
patrons to play board and video
games. "Games of every type play an
important role in developing fundamental competencies for life. They
require players to learn and follow
complex sets of rules, make strategic
and tactical decisions, and, increasingly, collaborate with teammates and
others: all things they will have to do in
college and in the workforce."
— Jim Rettig, ALA President, 20082009. Read all about our event in The
Gazette at http://www.gazette.net/
