They can congratulate them on their impending graduation, remind them of special memories, show memorable times, or simply leave them with a personal message. Complete this form and return with payment, text and photos to Mrs. Schley’s mailbox in the main office by the dates below. Students creating ads will utilize templates given to them by our photo/design editor and can modify them only slightly in order to maximize visual impact of the images given to them from the ad customer. We reserve the right to edit or reject any ad or photo that does not meet our requirements. Please be sure to follow all of the guidelines: 1. A word document with your message is preferred, so that we can “copy and paste” it, minimizing typos on our end. 2. Digital photos are preferred, but hard copies are also accepted – label CDs/flash drives with your name. 3. Please do not use abbreviations, nonsense words, initials, or coded messages. If you purposefully misspell a word, please let us know that you want the misspelling. 4. Do not send embarrassing photos (no naked baby photos). 5. Do not cut or crop photos. 6. Do not send images that are copyrighted. 7. Submit quality photos – we cannot make a bad photo good! Do not submit xerox copies or polaroids. 8. We do not accept collage photo arrangements, as we are designing the ads to create unity and equality across the board. 9. We cannot guarantee that photos will be returned, so please do not send photos that are irreplaceable! 10. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your photos via US postal service IF THE AD IS A SURPRISE. (We will be returning photos that are not surprises to seniors during the month of May – once the book has been finalized…) 11.
