PARTNERSHIP FOR ASSESSMENT OF
READINESS FOR
COLLEGE AND CAREERS (PARCC)
• PARCC’s ultimate goal is to ensure all students graduate from high
school college- and career-ready.
• PARCC assessments are designed to measure the full range of the
CCSS and full continuum of student abilities, including the
performance of high and underperforming students.
• To effectively carry out the PARCC design, assessments in both
content areas will be administered in two components.
