Welcome to Travilah!
Don’t Forget…
We are so excited to have our new
Kindergarten students! In our first few
days, the Kindergarteners made a set of
classroom rules together. Together, we
talked about important ideas. Some
students said: share, listen, line up, take
turns, and (teacher’s favorite!) raise your
hand. Our “official” K rules will be:
Please remind your child to bring their blue
“to home- to school” folder back and forth
each day. This is a quick and easy way for
you and your child’s teacher to
communicate.
1. Work quietly and do not disturb
others.
2. When the teacher is talking, be quiet
and listen.
3. Raise your hand, and wait to be
called on before speaking.
4. Respect yourself and your
classmates.
5. Keep your hands and feet to
yourself.
Please review these rules with your children
at home. It will be wonderful to see so
many of you during back to school night.

~Homework~
The black homework journal (labeled as
such) will go home with a new entry at the
beginning of the month. Students are
expected to turn the homework in at the
end of the month. We will discuss in class.
