Dear Families,
We are looking forward to working with all of you in second grade! It will be an exciting and
rewarding experience. We believe that being prepared with materials is an essential
component for achievement. The following is a list of supplies that will help your child be
successful in second grade. Have a safe summer and we’ll see you next fall!

Required supplies:
 1-inch (no larger!) sturdy 3-ring binder with clear cover on front
(Recommended -1" Durable Round-Ring View Binder, White)
 4 oblong erasers
 1 plastic pencil/supply box
 1 box of 48 crayons
 12 glue sticks
 2 composition books: 100 sheets- 9 ¾ x7 ½ (no spirals)
 1 spiral 1-subject notebook (any color)
 2 boxes of #2 pencils
(Please buy either Paper Mate or Ticonderoga brands. They last longer!!!)
Encouraged supplies
[Students are highly encouraged to bring their own, but we can provide them if necessary]:

1 box colored pencils
1 pair of scissors
Presentation sheet protectors
1 box of markers
Appreciated donations:
 Box of blue ball point pens
 Box of red ball point pens
 Dry-erase markers (Expo brand preferred)
 Tissues
 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
 Disinfecting wipes (Clorox brand preferred)
 1 box of Band-Aids
 Zipped-top bags of all sizes (snack, sandwich, quart, gallon; Ziploc brand preferred)
