As a follow-up to the June 10 MnVFC announcement, we are extending the deadline for accepting data logger
requests. We have a limited number of devices left and will enroll sites in the pilot project until our supply runs out.
Request yours today!
Background:
CDC strongly recommends using a data logger to monitor vaccine storage units. Data loggers can provide extensive
data on temperature patterns, fluctuations, and history. This recommendation is likely to become a requirement in
2018.
How can I prepare my clinic for this potential requirement?
One way to prepare for this change is to receive free data loggers from the MnVFC program. For a limited time, we
can provide data loggers to clinics that are interested in participating in a pilot project examining the use of data
loggers for continuous temperature monitoring of vaccine.
•
Each site can receive up to four devices free of charge.
•
To participate, you need to send monthly data logger files to MDH for the first three months of use.
•
Following the project, the devices are yours to keep.
Interested in participating?
Fill out the online request form at https://survey.vovici.com/se.ashx?s=56206EE30D7194F7. We will accept
requests until supplies run out.
