




Through our community facilities program, we finance the construction, renovation or expansion of
hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, assisted living centers, mental health facilities, and healthcare equipment.
Rural Development funds also may be used to purchase Health Information Technology for eligible healthcare providers for adopting Electronic Health Records technology to meet the meaningful use provision.
Projects must be located in a rural community of 20,000 people or fewer.
Loan guarantees, low-interest direct loans and some grant funding is available.
