Duties include managing a forensic economic consulting firm, performing appraisals of loss of lifetime earnings and economic value in cases of wrongful death, personal injury, age discrimination, and equitable distribution (1,500 cases handled), providing expert testimony (250 appearances), and analyzing the present value of structured settlements. Research Economist Division of Housing Assistance Research, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Washington, D.C. (1980-1981). Primary duties included the preparation of four housing research papers involving evaluation, multi-variate analysis, extensive literature review, and policy analysis. Other duties included reviewing analytical reports from contractors, providing consultation on economic issues, and serving as an advisor to the dissertation grants program. Economic Consultant Rochester Downtown Development Corporation (1980). Primary duties included conducting a feasibility study of the proposed $15M Rochester Transit Mall using the expected effect upon retail sales and downtown development as criteria, and preparing briefing materials, mini-reports, a major report, and an executive summary.
