“I Am Special” WEEK
____________________________ will be “special” next week. (
).
This is a very exciting activity for your child. Take a few minutes to select pictures with
your child. Try to include pictures of the family, grandparents, friends, and important
events. Along with your child mount these pictures on a poster board and label. Your
child may want to decorate with markers or stickers. Send the poster to school on
Monday along with the “Celebrating Me” page (sent home the week before).
On Friday, 1:00, we will celebrate your child’s uniqueness with a song, poem,
circle of friendship, a special booklet, and a discussion of the one-of-a-kind poster.
You are welcome to join us for lunch at 12:30 and in the classroom for the celebration
afterwards.
