Dear Parents,
This week Lana the Iguana will help us learn about different
parts of plants such as roots, stems and leaves. Some parts
we eat and some we don't. Some fruits and vegetables look
very different on the inside and the outside.
We might cut some fruits and vegetables in half to see if we
can recognize some fruit and vegetable prints within our art.
We will do some tasting of the fruit or vegetable of the week
and make our own snacks. We will also do some planting so
we can watch the seeds, stems, leaves and roots grow over
the next several weeks.
