Cooking Tour

LANA Preschool Program
Family Cooking Tour Finale
Overview
The Family Cooking Tour is designed to encourage families to explore cooking with their
children and to celebrate their participation in the LANA Preschool Program. Parents
and their preschoolers can prepare and eat 4 simple target f/v snacks that children have
previously made in their classroom as a part of the LANA Program classroom activities.
The Family Cooking Tour will generally be scheduled during the pick-up hours at each
center (ex. 4:00 – 6:00).

How it works
Parents will sign in and each family will be given a Cooking Tour Card to have stamped
as they visit each of the cooking stations. Families will make a snack at each of the
stations and have their card stamped. Once their card has all four stamps on it, they
will turn it in to receive a gift. Each family will take home their child’s customized
cookbook with all the recipes from the LANA Preschool Program.
