Note: MCPS provides all the necessary materials required for instruction. If you would like to
donate additional items for your child’s classroom, this is a list of the items that the third grade
teachers find most useful.
❏ 4 packs of pencils (pre-sharpened, not Staples brand) ❏ 2 folders ❏ 1 pack of wide-ruled notebook paper ❏ hand-held sharpener with enclosure ❏ pack of highlighters ❏ 2 marble composition notebooks ❏ 1 pencil box/pouch ❏ 1 box of crayons ❏ 1 box of colored pencils ❏ scissors for personal use ❏ 5 large glue sticks ❏ 1 pack of dry-erase markers ❏ 2 boxes of tissues ❏ 1 box of markers
