Students will use

answer “wh” questions.
Students will identify the
main topic of an informative
text.
Students will explain how
specific images clarify text.
Students will use glossaries
and dictionaries to define
words.
Students will identify and
describe natural features
of continents with a focus
on land and water forms.
Students will finish writing
an informative paragraph
about healthy eating
habits.
Students will strengthen
their writing by revising and
editing.
Students will draw bar
graphs and picture graphs
to represent data.
Students will solve word
problems based on
information presented in
graphs.
Students will consult
reference materials to
improve spelling.
Students will apply
strategies to add and
subtract within 20.
Students will explain how
democratic skills and
attitudes are associated
with being a responsible
citizen.
Mid-term reports are in the
Friday Folders.
Students will identify
people, symbols, poems,
or songs and explain the
ideals they represent.
Please spend time
reviewing the report with
your child. Discuss areas of
strength, as well as areas of
need.
Sign and return the
signature sheet on
Monday.
