TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY Undergraduate Minor in Nonprofit Management and Leadership Curriculum This minor is perfect for students with a commitment to serving their communities and the desire to apply knowledge from their major to future employment in the nonprofit sector. The curriculum is a mixture of on-site courses (at the downtown Avon Williams Campus of TSU), hybrid, and online courses. Hybrid courses meet once every two weeks on-site; the remainder of course activities take place online, creating schedule flexibility. Five three-credit courses are required as well as a six credit-hour internship. Courses usually include a valuable service learning component, providing students with the opportunity to learn in a real-world setting while building connections in the regional nonprofit community.
