Thus, Marilyn was initially in Capetown, South Africa, then Singapore, and finally Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. June 2011 was the time of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy General Meeting and Congress held every four years and was convened in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. At that meeting, Marilyn was elected for a second term as President of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy. In September, she traveled to Beirut, Lebanon for the 8th International Congress of the Order of Physiotherapists in Lebanon.
