Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
2015 - 2016
ARRIVAL







Parents will enter the lower parking lot (as you have in the past) and follow the one way sign.
Continue to drive through the parking lot until you reach the island at the corner of Queen Mary
and the school parking lot.
Students will exit your car to the right near the crosswalk only and designated islands. (Parents –
please be patient and do not pass cars on the left!) If necessary, parents may reenter the loop to
keep the traffic flowing.
Students will follow the directions of the adult and patrols stationed in designated areas.
Students will proceed to the all-purpose room/gym door where they will be directed by an adult
and patrols to go to their grade level hallways.
Students will enter classrooms at 9:15 a.m.
All parents MUST enter through the main doors and check in at the main office.
**Reminder**
 There is no supervision of students before 9:10 a.m.
 Parents may not drop off students before 9:10 a.m.
 An adult will be stationed in the lower parking lot from 9:10 – 9: 23 a.m.
 Late arrivals (9:25 a.m.) must enter the building through the main doors.
DISMISSAL
Car Riders
 Parents will enter the lower parking lot and follow the one way sign.
 Parents will drive through the parking lot until you reach the island at the corner of Queen
Mary and the school parking lot.
 Students will enter the car on the right near the cross walk only and on the designated islands
(Parents – please be patient and do not pass cars on the left.) If necessary, parents may reenter
the loop to keep the traffic flowing.
 Students will be dismissed from classrooms at 3:50 p.m.
 If you have parked in the parking lot, you will not be able to exit until the loop is clear of cars.
Walkers
 Walkers will exit the building through the fifth grade door near the playground
 Walkers will be released to parents who are waiting at the 5th grade doors by the portico.
