11&12: Running a class (2)
I. 1. Find references from URL about “Elicitation” and make a
summary of it.
2. In groups : present how to elicit a particular target language.
3. Task 2 page 101, from Scrivener.
Today’s lesson will work on language used when meeting people at
parties. What questions could you ask at the start of your lesson in
order to interest the learners and to elicit some of their personal
feelings and reactions.

II. 1. Find language or certain expressions which is often used in each
stage of the lesson.
2. Read an article of “Using English in the classroom” and discuss
Task 1( from the hand-out ) : How often is English used in the
classroom ?
3. Find a solution for Task 2 : Problems of using English in the
classroom.
