Meet Your New School Counselor, Ms. Wert

Bullfrog Staff Spotlight
Hello everyone!
As we begin to kick off
our new school year, I
just wanted to take this
opportunity to introduce
myself. My name is Beth
Yetter and I will be your
school counselor this
year. I look forward to
working with all of you
and your students! My
mission is to connect
with all students
emotionally and socially
in order for them to be
successful academically.
I will do whatever it takes
to ensure a happy and healthy day here at school. I will teach them tools for school
and for life. I promise you your kids are in loving hands here at Great Seneca
Creek.
As a recent graduate of the Trinity University, and alumnus of Frostburg State
University, I bring a combination of education and experience to the staff and
students of Great Seneca Creek Elementary. My educational background includes
a B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and an M.A. in Counseling.
My professional experiences include Kindergarten teacher and team leader in
MCPS and counselor intern for Advanced Behavioral Health and DC Bilingual
Public Charter School (Pre-k through 6th).
I grew up in Montgomery County and currently live in the county. In my free time
love to go to the beach, exercise, and boat, pretty much anything outside is
enjoyable! I will be getting married next year in May and have been planning away
for this very exciting day!
Again, I look forward to working with you and making this a great school year at
the Creek!
