First Grade Timeline
First graders will soon begin working on an autobiographical writing project. Each
child will write stories to document the history of his or her own life. We would
like you to help us begin the project by gathering personal photographs that can be
sent to school. These photos should represent a year-by-year progression of
your child’s life (from birth until now), including traditions shared in your family,
like reading a story before bed or visiting grandma during summer vacation. It
would be most helpful if you could send in photographs that “tell a story” about
your child. Since the project will be about him or her, it would be best if your child
is in each photo.
**Please include
dates on the back of each photo to help your child when
they are placing them on the timeline.
**The photos will be glued. So, if you prefer, please send in a duplicate or printed
copy.
**Photos must be 4X6 or smaller
**Send in all pictures by : Thursday, Jan. 2
