Dr. Charles Drew Elementary School Kindergarten April Dolphin Splash Dear Parents, Spring has sprung!? We hope so! In social studies, we will learn about tools and toys of the past. In science, we will continue to look at similarities and differences between humans and animals, and how external features help us adapt to our environment. In language arts, we will continue to add high frequency words to our Word Wall, and read and learn to write poetry. In math, we will continue simple addition and subtraction. May 13 Kindergarten Orientation There will be no school for kindergarten students on Friday, May 13 since the teachers and classrooms are in use for orientation.
