First Grade Happenings
November 13, 2015
Reading
Math
We read Rainbow Fish. We identified the
central message. We also retold stories
using key details.
We identified that the value on one side
of the equal sign is the same as the value of
the other side of the equal sign.
We matched pictorial representations to 2digit numbers. We also modeled 2-digit
numbers using base ten blocks.
Writing
Science
We continued to write informative texts
about a given topic. We supplied facts
about the topic. We worked on producing
complete sentences.
We read Just a Little Bit. We described
up and down movements of non-living
objects. We also described ways in which
non-living objects move as straight, round
and round, back and forth, or zig-zag.
Social Studies
