Birthday Celebrations
Parents may bring in store bought
cookies, cupcakes, small treats, etc… for
students to share for birthday
celebrations. Birthday celebrations are
no longer than15 minutes at the end of
the school day or during lunch.

Homework Expectations
Homework should be written in the student’s
agenda book daily.
 Weekly spelling homework should be brought
to school completed every Friday.
 Math homework should be brought in daily.
 Occasional homework in the content areas will
be given.
 Students with missing
homework will loose recess
for the day and complete
the assignment at that time.

Reading Logs
Students are to read for a total of 250
minutes per week(50 minutes per day).
Students should record the book, genre,
and pages read on their reading log.
Please remember to sign their
reading log.
