Science Lab Logo Contest
We are looking for students who are interested in submitting a logo for our school science lab. We will
have a teacher panel judging all submissions. If you win, your logo will be on posters in the school,
and used to help us raise funds for the lab. Here are some examples of logos you see every day (with
thanks to these corporations): Notice that they are simple and clear.
We know you can help us make a logo – so here’s what you need to do.

All of your work must be original. Your parents can help you think of ideas, but all the
artwork must be your own. You may hand draw your logo, or digitalize it.
You may not use clipart.
Make sure your work is on an 8 ½ by 11 piece of paper.
Hand it in to the office by Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
Include this permission slip, and make sure you have the necessary signatures.
