feelings about their school.

 Instead of asking your children “How was their day?” ask questions that require a detailed answer.

- I really love the sense of community here at Shriver. From teachers to the students they
demonstrate daily teamwork and willingness to help each other out. It puts a smile on my
face!

Saturday School:
It is not too late to register your child for Saturday School! This program offers low cost small
group instruction by MCPS teachers using the school curriculum. It is a great way to build your
child’s academic skills. For more information, go to the link below:

A registration fee of $40 for students who receive Free and Reduced Meal Services (FARMS)
and $70 for students who do not receive FARMS is required to register. A payment plan is
available at all Saturday School sites and can be completed at registration.
