A Message from the Sargent Shriver Staff As the year 2015 comes to an end, the staff at Sargent Shriver Elementary School would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and wish you a happy and relaxing winter vacation with your families and friends. We hope your winter vacation is full of good times that build lasting memories. We also want to thank you for supporting our daily efforts to provide our students a quality, rigorous education in nurturing learning environments. In addition, we want to thank our parent volunteers and other family members within our school community who donate their time to help our students and staff. Thomas, Sr. Learning Academy Saturday School: It is not too late to register your child for Saturday School! This program offers low cost small group instruction by MCPS teachers using the school curriculum. It is a great way to build your child’s academic skills.
