Beverly Farms Elementary School, 8501 Postoak Road, Potomac, MD 20854 301.469.1050
Dear Parents,
Staff Appreciation Week was May 5-9. The
PTA generously provided “treats” for the staff
throughout the week including breakfast on
Monday. Children dropped off handmade
notes and many staff members are the recipients of notes or email messages of gratitude
from you. Words of appreciation whether
written or spoken are deeply appreciated. Thank you for recognizing their hard work and dedication to Beverly Farms!
Kindergarten Orientation (in April) was a successful event. Parent volunteers and staff
worked together to make it both welcoming
and productive. If you know anyone moving
within our school boundaries with elementary
aged children please remind them to contact
us as soon as possible so they can register and
become part of the Beverly Farms Family!
An outdoor sculpture was temporarily removed while Beverly Farms Elementary was
being rebuilt. The mobile structure will be reinstalled later this month. Kevin Reese, who
created the original sculptures, will return to
guide students in grades K-5 through the process of repainting his creations. We look forward to this piece of original art being back on
display for everyone’s enjoyment.

The elementary summer school program is only for students who have completed Grades

Safety First-Drop Off
The back of the school is the location of
our bus loop. In unique circumstances
(usually weather-related) a staff member
will direct cars to use the bus loop once all
buses have arrived. Please do not drop off
your children behind the school unless
staff direct cars to that location.
Safety First-Mobile Phones
State of Maryland Law
No Texting. No Handheld Phones
The law applies, even in the car loop. Please
be attentive even when the line temporarily
halts so students can get inside cars.
