Beverly Farms, in partnership with the community, is committed

Important Dates
MAEF Mobile Science Lab
The Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation’s (MAEF)
Mobile Science Lab will visit Beverly Farms the week of
March 8th through 12th. Each class will visit the mobile lab
for an exciting and interactive experience.
Lessons include:
Kindergarten ~ Beanie Baby
Grade 1 ~ Forest & Me
Grade 2 ~ Farmers Protect the Environment (Primary)
Grade 3 ~ Sticky Bean
Grade 4 ~ Farmers Protect the Environment (Intermediate)
Grade 5 ~ Banana DNA
Ask your child about their experience in the mobile lab.
Maryland School Assessment (MSA) Science
Fifth grade students will take the MSA Science Assessment on
March 8th and 9th. The assessment will be administered on the
Chromebooks.
While the PARCC assessment was administered to grades 35 in March in previous years, this year the assessment
window will open on May 9th. More information to follow…
Kindergarten Orientation
Kindergarten Orientation will be held April 19th and 20th.
There will be not school for current kindergarteners. Please
call the office to schedule an appointment if you will be
registering a child for kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school
year.
