Martin Luther King And
Me

Introduction
Martin Luther King was a civil rights leader. Civil rights are the rights of people
to be treated fairly. He wanted to end segregation he thought white and all
color people could have the same rights. Segregation is when people are
divided by skin color. He showed effort, motivation and persistence to help
end segregation.
Martin Luther King’s Accomplishment
As a child Martin was a good speaker. He won a big speech contest
in high school. When he was an adult he gave speeches and led marches about
segregation. He told people not to fight. He showed people how to change
laws in peaceful ways. Martin sometimes went to jail or faced violence for his
ideas, but he kept working. Martin Luther King was persistent and helped
change the segregation laws.
Martin Luther King and Me
Martin Luther King and I have both worked hard at achieving our
goals. Martin Luther King worked hard to achieve his goal of
becoming a civil rights leader. I worked hard to achieve my goal of a
reaching level seven on the game Clash of Clans.
My Accomplishment
My goal was to be reach the next level on the game Clash of Clans.
First, I started on level two. It took me two weeks and three days to
move to level three. It took me about a week to get to level four. This
level was easier for me because it had bonus levels. It took me one
week and six days to get to level five. At level six I tried to get to level
seven but I got angry because it took me a long time. I kept on
playing the game because I started to do well. I learned some new
techniques on how to get to the next level. Finally I did it! It took a lot
of effort, motivation, and persistence but I made it to level seven.
Conclusion
This is how Martin Luther King helped end segregation and
how I was determined to get to the next level on my game.
