GEORGIA O’ KEEFFE Is AN uNIquE AMERIcAN pAINtER. uNIquE MEANs ONE OF A KIND. shE
had drawn many paintings. using different types of materials such as
watercolors and charcoal. Watercolors are paint mixed with water and
charcoal is in a pencil. She showed effort, motivation, and persistence to become a
famous artist.

took art lessons. In 1905 Georgia went to the Art Institute Of
Chicago. She later studied art in new York city. In 1915 Georgia
became an art teacher. In 1916 Georgia visited New Mexico and
painted the landscape. Landscape is a large area of land you
can see from one place . Georgia O'Keeffe used effort, motivation,
and persistence to reach her goal of becoming an artist.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENT
My goal was to win a spelling bee. A spelling bee is where you get to
spell word. One day my Mom signed me up. I had one month to practice words. I
asked my mom to ask the word lists to me. I kept practing the words when I had
some spare time. finally the day came when the spelling bee was here. I was
excited but at the same time I was also nervous. I saw some really great
spellers. I went to the writing test room and did my best on it. To go on the stage
and spell you needed to pass the writing test. I waited for some time and the
results came. I was selected to go and spell words on the stage. I was very
happy. I got a medal for getting onto the stage. Next it was time for my first
word and I passed the word. after the word came there were two other people
who were competing against me. Again word after word came and both the boys
got eliminated. so I was the k-2 Grade level winner .I went on stage but this time
I got my award instead of spelling words. I was very proud of myself for reaching
my goal.
