DR. SEUSS AND ME By: Andrea Introduction Dr. Seuss was a famous author. He wrote and illustrated children’s books like The Cat in the Hat. Dr. Seuss used effort, motivation, and persistence to reach his goal of becoming an author. Dr. Seuss DR. SEUSS'S ACCOMPLISHMENT As a child Dr. Seuss loved to read books. After college he made money drawing. He wrote and illustrated his first book in 1937 called The Cat in the Hat. In 1991 he won lots and lots of awards for his books and even more after! Some of his books were even used to make movies. He showed effort, motivation and persistence to reach his goal of becoming a great author. DR. SEUSS AND ME Dr. Seuss and I have both worked hard to achieve our goals. Dr. Seuss worked hard and achieved his goal of a becoming a famous author. I have worked hard to achieve my goal of riding a two wheeled bike. MY ACCOMPLISHMENT My goal was to ride a two wheeled bike. I worked really hard. First I fell a few times. I also needed some help. I tried riding it every day. One day I did it but I fell. I tried again and I rode down the street with out falling. That is how I reached my goal of riding a two wheeled bike. CONCLUSION Dr. Seuss and me both used effort, motivation, and persistence to reach our goals. Dr. Seuss reached his goal of writing many fun children’s books and I reached my goal of riding a two wheeled bike. How will you reach your goals?
