Expert Opinion About GTU’S Research Week For Faculty of Management

I go to many institutes and universities; I have never seen such efforts
by any university that GTU have taken. It isvery helpful to students
and feculties too. Such activities makes student serious. Few students
had done very good job. Students of GTU are serious and disciplined
compare to the students I have reviewed before in other places.
Suggestions:Involvement of guide is mandatory and university should
make sure of their presence.

Organizing such Research Week is a great idea. When we did our
studies we did not had such facilities. It is a wonderful thing under the
leadership of Dr.AkshaiAggarwal. He can bring GTU at world level with
such efforts. Topics of the students were good and they I am impressed
with their determination. Faculties should guide students to ask right
questions.
Suggestions: Students need to understand that while performing Ph.D.
they are transforming from a student to a self-sufficient person.

Research Week was a good event. Participants were not well prepared.
Concepts were not clear. They need more inputs from supervisor. More
and more reviews should be done. In many students titles of research
and objectives were not matching. Some students had done very good
job. More of the topics were on microfinance, it should be diversified.
Suggestions: Organize reviews multiple times and increase the
involvement of supervisors.

Brief News:-Total 5 Students of Ph.D.(Batch-2011) in Finance Area of Faculty of Management were
