Expert Opinion About GTU’S Research Week For Faculty of Pharmacy Research Week Schedule ( 03/04/2013 to 16/04/2013)

This is versatile & first of its kind research week initiative i have seen It is well organised & followed by other institutes /
seen. It is well organised & followed by other institutes / university indeed. Students work is satisfactory. They are enthusiastic still they have to discuss with the guides in depth before going into the research or project work. Students must work hard to improve the work and also discuss with faculty. Mentality of students is same and is universal. They start the work leisurely in start and then end rushing up. Monitoring is necessary to work it out. University is doing great job to improve student’s work. If GTU followed the same attitude, the future will be very good GTU can organize more workshops and seminars to improve student

I have previously also attended such research weeks and it is a good experience every time. There are two extreme types of presentations. One is very extreme top and extreme bottom Students should
extreme top and extreme bottom. Students should improve the research work to improve the work. The topics are relevant to the needs of public.
In MSU I find the presentations very content based. For any presentation content must be strong.

GTU is doing well but can look in to improvising the availability of equipment in colleges. GTU should set up a well‐equipped centralise laboratory for the students to come and do research.

GTU is doing excellent job by organizing such amazing research week. I really appreciate that. Around 70% of the presentations we have studied are very good. Rest 30 % of the students are asked to re‐do their presentation work as the contents were not satisfactory. y
Students should be more serious about research. Students have become very smart and they try to find the easy way out which is a global problem. Teachers must see that the good students must not face injustice. Some students have given really good research and have made presentation on the toxicity of drug compound already available in market. Such presentations were found unique and interesting.
