Expert Opinion About GTU’S Research Week For Faculty of Pharmacy

Dr Shubhini Saraf( Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar
University.Central University,Lucknow): “This is really creditable
,such sort of activities are good. Since students have a limited
exposure ,it provides a right direction to the students .It must be
continued.
Suggestions: It is good that the projects of students were oriented
towards industries, but research work is less .Whatever suggested in
the previous review must be implemented by the students for future
.”
Dr Sreedhara R Pai (Manipal University): “It is an innovative way of
promoting quality research .It is a unique way of reviewing the
students, generally such a review is there only for PHD. Very happy to
see enthusiastic university staff who working for the students. Students
must utilise this.
Suggestions: Externals must be informed of the topics beforehand.”
Dr Shailendra K Saraf(BBDNIT Lucknow): “It is a good initiative I have
seen
this for the first time ,some projects are very good.
Suggestions: The projects where the students need work must be given
time
Or two slots for completion of projects may be made. University could
invite examiners from other states could be invited to avoid bias.”
Dr Bhavesh Patel (KBIPER, Gandhinagar): “This is very nice and
accordingly organised. Students and faculty have a chance to meet
their old colleagues, friends.
Suggestions: This must be organised twice a year .Students can
upgrade the quality of their projects by considering the suggestions of
the externals.”

Brief News:- Total :158 Students of MPharma Sem-IV and 6 Students of Ph.D.(Batch-2011) were
reviewed by the experts. Three experts talk were held on various innovative topics of Pharmacy on
