Expert Opinion About GTU’S Research Week For Faculty of Pharmacy

Dr B G Chaudhary (SKPCPER Ganpat univ) “I am really impressed .It’s good to
gather all faculties from different colleges ,sharing ideas with different people
from different places is good, students come to know where they are standing.
Suggestions: Students must be provided with proper facilities, communication
gap between students and teachers must be filled.”
Dr Nrupesh Patel (Nirma Univ) : “The concept of research week is good, it is
centralized ,also good for faculties since they have interaction with other
faculties from different colleges.”
Suggestions: University must set out some time limit in which the projects are
prepared by students. Proper instrumentation, good infrastructure, labs,
journals, periodicals must be provided by the students.”
Dr R K Goyal (Ahmedabad University) “It’s a novel concept, something great.
Workshops are organized for students after the review, it is really good.
Suggesstions: Students must give a concise writ up before the presentation,
research mela, venture studio, venture labs sort of things must be organized.
Small conferences at the end could be taken up by the industrialists.”
Dr Narmada G Y (VIPS Bangalore) : “ This is a good concept, it makes students more
prepared ,gives them a good exposure.They come to know where they are lagging .It
is beneficial for the students as they come to know about better
methodologies,develop better confidence.”
Suggestions: GTU can organize national level conferences,symposium on a particular
theme or topic.It must be done more frequently in an year.”
Dr Rajnikant Maradiya (DDU Nadiad) “ It is good .It’s really difficult to arrange
students ,faculty from all over Gujarat ,and GTU has done a commendable job on
that part. It is excellent.”
Suggestions: Guidelines must be followed .Students must know the real aim of
projects.”

Brief News:- Total :176 Students of MPharma Sem-IV and 7 Students of Ph.D.(Batch-2011) were
reviewed by the experts. Three experts talk were held on various innovative topics of Pharmacy on
