Gujarat Technological University has been established with the aim of bringing excellence to technical
education in Gujarat. More than 500 institutes are affiliated with the University & more than 4.5 lac students are
studying in these institutes. For the overall development of students, participation in various extra-curricular
activities is offered by the university. The University is carrying out various activities like NSS, NCC, Sports & youth
welfare along with academic schedule of the University.
GTU has started NSS activities with 2000 vacancies. University Advisory Committee of National Service
Scheme for the year 2012-2013 has decided to encourage activities carried out by the NSS Units & NSS Volunteers
through awards. University is inviting nominations in the following categories.
