GTU/Esta-NT/Rect/2012/7308 Date :- 13-07-2012 Circular : Written test for the recruitment for the various administrative positions at Gujarat Technological University (GTU) (Advt No. :- GTU/Recruit/01/2012) The list of eligible candidates (post wise) is displayed on the University website (www.gtu.ac.in). The written test/elimination test of the eligible candidates for the below mentioned posts will be held on 22-07-2012(Sunday) as per the following schedule. College of Engineering, Opposite Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad-15 The University is in the process of informing candidates through SMS, Email and also by speed post. All eligible candidates whose names are displayed on the University website are informed to appear for written test if they do not receive a call letter or any intimation by any means. There will be two separate test papers as per above shown table. The Test Paper-1 would consist of multiple choice questions based on following subjects: General Knowledge/ General Awareness, English language and comprehension ability Logical reasoning /arithmetic Specialized Computer Knowledge The Test Paper-2 would consist of multiple choice questions based on following subjects: General Knowledge/ General Awareness, English language and comprehension ability Logical reasoning /arithmetic Basic Computer Knowledge The test would be based on OMR sheets. Please note that some of the candidates are declared eligible for more than one post they have to appear for single test. Other Important Instructions:1. Eligible candidates are informed to remain present at exam centre before 30 minutes of commencement of the test. 2. The written test is meant for short listing purpose only. Final selection would be based on bio data profile and performance of the candidate in the skill tests and/or Practical Test and /or interview. 3. Electronic gadgets including mobile phones, i-pad, calculator etc. which leads to unfair means are not allowed at the examination hall. 4. Entry to exam hall is strictly based upon the hall ticket which is to be downloaded from GTU website : www.gtu.ac.in 5. Candidate must carry any valid original photo identity proof such as driving licence, PAN card etc along with a photocopy of the same while appearing for the test. 6.
