Guidelines for Remedial Introduction to Dissertation (ITD) Summer 2015 (M. Pharm Sem III Students)

Guidelines:

All students should remain present at respective venue by 08:30 AM. In order to start the exam on time, it is
mandatory to load student PowerPoint presentation at respective hall by 9:00 am.
Student must bring two spiral bound copy of ITD along with PSAR report as a part of it in the last part.
Students should present:
a)
Hall Tickets issued by the University
b)
Concise Literature Review
c)
Justification for the topic
d)
Summary of PSAR
e)
Approval of the topic by the Institute research committee (Including subject expert & the institute
head)
f)
Objective and rationale about the project
g)
Compliance to ITD 2014 comments
Instructions:

Presentation duration per student: 20 min + 10 min Interaction.

Students are required to bring presentation preferably on CD rather than pen drive.

Students should carry 2 Hard copy of the ITD comprising Patent Search Analysis Report (PSAR) in
last part.

Total marks is 80 out of which passing marks is 32.

Students of M. Pharm must reach in time at respective
halls. Breakfast will be provided by GTU to the students

To avoid delay in the review work , the students are
requested to upload their presentation before start of the
Review
9:30 am to 1:00 pm
First 6 students review will be done as per the list
1.00 am to 2.00 pm
Lunch will be provided to all Experts, Supervisors, CoSupervisors and Students by GTU.
Remaining students review will be done as per the list

Please note:
1) Experts, Supervisors, Co-Supervisor and students will be offered free lunch coupons by the University
at their respective halls.
2) Only supervisor/guide, whose name is registered in GTU database can claim for TA and Honorarium.
3) Co-supervisor/co-guide/alternative faculty authorized by institute can able to remain present during
their respective student’s presentation but they cannot claim TA and honorarium.
