Resources Engineering are fields of my
specialization. My research work mainly focuses
on agricultural reuse of sewage effluent and
resource conservation through managing waste.
It is need of hour to promote recycling / reuse of
treated sewage/ trade effluent for irrigation in
development of agriculture. However, it is an
utmost important to look at advantages as well
as dangers of wastewater irrigation practices to
public health and the environment. Sewage
effluent can be promoted as alternative source
for irrigation as sewage effluent may become
more important source of irrigation, organic
matter and nutrient supply for crop production in
the near future. Surface application of sewage
effluent may result into prevention of stream
ocean pollution. The safe utilization of treated
wastewater does not only conserve surface and
ground water resources but also helps in
increasing agricultural production. It is necessary
to manage resources wisely if we are to continue
to enjoy the benefits that we now receive from it.
Various possibilities of conservation of various
resources are to be explored.
