ABSTRACT: In the current webinar, we would delve into the aspiration of engineers - what kind of job roles
attract them, sectors and companies do they aspire to work in etc. We would also try and understand how job
aspirations of students change with their branch of study, gender and tier of city amongst others. We would also
look at what Companies look for while interviewing. The disconnect between education and industry has varied
aspects. The talent required by the IT industry is different from what a manufacturing industry wants or what a
Service industry requires. We also will delve into how the right use of social media can make the engineers
Moreemployable.
