Gujarat. Various thinggs were preepared likee ganpat, w

ous current issues. MOVIE MANAGEMENT It was about the various management skills in movies. Here more than 40 students participated, only one round was being conducted for elimination, the movies were LAGAAN, CHAK DE, BADMAAS COMPANY, GURU, KHAKHEE AND SO ON, judges were Mr. Akshay Palvankar and Prof. Shantanu Chakravorty. They were given 10 minutes for their presentation, the various colleges which participated were sigma institute of management, Christ institute, Naranlala college, SPB college, PIM, PIET, DR. JKPIM etc. ENIGMA The theme of this event was management crossword, more than 40 students participated and colleges were Tolani Institute of Management studies, Christ institute, Narmada College, PIM, PIET, and Dr. JKPIM etc. Our judge was Prof. Preeti Nair. HIDDEN OBJECT It was a treasure hunt in which students were ask to find and collect information based on clues spread all across the campus the event was really energetic one as students had to run all over here n there and use their common sense every now n then. On

had
organized
various
Management events like horizon’11, business simulation, extempore, poster presentation, mad adventure. The details of the event are as follows:
HORIZON’11 This event theme was research paper, across Gujarat various students participated in this event; colleges were MSU, PIM, PIET, and Dr. JKPIM etc. To judge this event we had Dr. P G K Murthy and Rajkumari Soni. The topics were employee engagement, micro finance, market potential of battery operated cycles, etc. BUSINESS SIMULATION The most complex and a very new event. There were more than 30 students participated from which 6 students were eliminated in the screening rounds, the second round comprise of testing, in which they were given different data from different areas and were asked to present their business ideas based on it. The judges were Prof. Ashiya sheikh and Prof. Anirrudh Tambe. EXTEMPORE The students were from various colleges and were given 4 min to speak on the current topic, judges were Prof. N K Kapoor and Prof Kiran Joshi who came from MSU. POSTER PRESENTATION The event was based on creative and innovative and how students are skilled with using colors and pens. They had to create a poster on the themes & current issues along with social awareness. The judges were Prof. Dipak Gaywala. MAD ADVENTURE There were more than 30 participants who were divided in three member team. The members had to use there creativity, skills and how they used them to present it effectively and innovatively the judges were Prof. Shantanu Chakravorty & Dr. Bijal Zaveri. Event Photogra

National Level Management Symposium was organized by Dr. J. K.
Patel Institute of Management, Parul Institute of Engineering &
Technology-(MBA Dept) , Parul Institute of Management and Parul
Institute of Business Administration on 5th and 6th March, 2011.
More than 700 management students across the country had participated &
made this event a grand success.
Management Symposium was termed excellent by the majority of the
student participants. They also showed their optimism for their participation
next year.
We all are thankful to the combined efforts of our Sponsors, Co Sponsors,
Media Partner to make this event a grand success.
