We are pleased to inform you that, due to importance of Power sector in next Panchvarshik Yojna 201217, We had organized 3 days “FRANCHISE TRAINING PROGRAMME “from 2/12/2011 to 4/12/2011 in
collaboration with DAKSHIN GUJARAT VIJ COMPANY LIMITED (An ISO 9001:2008)(DGVCL) certified
company & Joint venture with Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd.,India for the students(Final Year) &
Faculty members of Diploma Electrical Engineering.
In this programme total 30 Students & 10 Faculty members actively participated.
MR.R.B.Bhavsar(DYEE) & MR.A.L.Nagare(DYEE) experts from MSEDCL had nicely explained about
objectives of Franchising, its applicability, Rural distribution franchising in India, various options of
franchising. They had also focused on best practices for Metering Billing and collection process, safety,
accident prevention & customer services & care.
Mrs.S.A.Naik(Additional Chief Engineer(IT & HR),DGVCL corporate office ,Kapodara Surat had also
supportred us for this programme. This programme was sponsored by DGVCL,Surat. The tea, breakfast
& Lunch to the participants provided by DGVCL,Surat during the said training programme. The certificate
of attending training programme was also provided by them.
This programme was very useful to all our students as they got proper knowledge of Franchise & it’s
methodology. Also all faculty members aware about advantages of Franchise & its applications.
