ACCEPT THE CHALLENGES FOR A BETTER TOMORROW
M.H.Gardi School of Management & C.C.Gardi Institute of Management, Gardi Vidyapith,
organized a seminar on “ACCEPT THE CHALLENGES FOR A BETTER TOMORROW” in association
with GIDC (Lodhika) Industrial Association, on last Sunday, 22nd of August, with the objective of
bridging the gap between industries and academics and to exchange ideas with students.
Industrialist, Academicians and students were invited from various industrial units & B-schools
of Gujarat. To fulfill the objective of the seminar, three renowned speakers were invited from
different parts of the country. Prof. (Dr.) Tridib Chakraborti, Professor, IIM – Kolkata, delivered
his speech on “FACING UP THE CHALLENGE OF CHANGE - THE MANAGERIAL RESPONSE" and
gave some enriching examples to show how to survive & excel in continuously changing
business environment.
Prof. (Dr.) Abhijit Ganguly, Professor, Business School of University of East London and Coventry
University, UK, suggested ways of developing an “Engaged” workforce rather than just keeping
them “committed”, in his speech of "BUILDING PASSIONATE ORGANIZATION FOR HIGH
PERFORMANCE".
Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Patra, Director, P.C.Mahalanabish School of Business Management,
Bhubaneswar, was the third distinguished speaker who advised students to develop leadership
qualities of being a good listener, guide and motivator. His speech on "LEADERSHIP FOR
ORGANIZATIONAL EXCELLENCE" gave great useful insights about leadership qualities.
Earlier to that, the seminar was inaugurated by blessings of Mr. D.V.Mehta, Chairman, Gardi
Vidyapith & Mr. Kishorbhai Kadvani, Chairman, and GIDC-Lodhika Industrial Association, who
congratulated all for attending the event and wished them for future success. Mr. Prashant
Mehta, CEO, Gardi Vidyapith, warmly welcomed the guests and delegates on behalf of Gardi
Vidyapith and shared his ideas about the basic purpose of organizing the seminar and its
importance to various constituencies of the society.
All faculty members, administrative staff and students of M.H. Gardi School of Management &
C.C. Gardi Institute of Management collectively planned & implemented this seminar under the
guidance of Dr. Sandip Solanki, Director, MBA Department, Gardi Vidyapith. To recognize their
efforts & inputs, Dr. Dharmesh Raval, Assistance Director, congratulated them all in his vote of
