BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Furthering the tradition of Gardi Vidyapith, this year also, we are going to
organize a Thalassemia and Swine Flu Awareness Campaign, a Blood Donation
Camp and an Eye Donation Camp at our campus on October 01, 2010.
Nurturing the twig we had planted previous year, this year also we are
commencing a Thalassemia and Swine Flu Awareness Campaign, a Blood
Donation Camp and an Eye Donation Camp. The objective of these activities is to
inculcate the awareness among the society in general and among the youthstudents in particular. The number of patients carrying Thalassemia Major needs
blood transplantation every month. The blood banks are unable to provide the
sufficient supply of blood.
The Vidyapith is happy to cite here that last year our attempt was proved
to be huge success as all the first semester students had undergone the Thalassemia
test and together we could collect as many as 177 bags of blood, which is a history
in itself.
This year too, we wish to set new milestones with our humble efforts to
avail the future generation of society with vigilant and jovial milieu.
We most cordially invite you all to come and encourage the volunteers who
would come forward to donate blood and eyes and urge you also to donate and
support our Campaign towards healthier and happier humanity.
