JVIMS –MBA Institute conducted Industry Institute Interactive meet along with CII(
confederation of Indian Industry ) on 25th Nov 2010.
The objective of such interaction was intended to enable students know the skill set
required from industry’s perspective and how the same can be addressed in most efficient
manner.

Student of JVIMS Actively Participated in this meet and asked their query regarding
what skill set requires to enter in to any industry. Industrialist replied that the basis skill
require is attitude, passion towards work, leadership and focus. Students also asked
question regarding importance of institute name to get the job. Industrialist answered that
the first thing important for any company is brand image, past experience. One of the
students asked what should be an MBA student salary expectation on first job.
Dignitaries replied that at initial level never look for salary if you are getting your interest
job then salary is not important. If you work passionately then in future the same
company offers as per your caliber .Students benefited lot from this discussion which will
helpful them to achieve their career’s objective.
