Baroda College of Pharmacy was established in 2005
with a mission of providing service to the poor and

intellectual. The institute is approved by AICTE & PCI,
accredited by NAAC-UGC, NBA (AICTE) and affiliated
to Gujarat Technological University Ahemdabad. The
institute is committed to promote the highest

science in all aspects. Baroda College of Pharmacy is
conducting B.Pharm.Course (UG) and M.Pharm. Course

Assurance Techniques and Pharmacology.

Current approaches to discovering, developing, and
launching new drugs fall well short of the needs of the
biopharmaceutical industry. Drug development is a long,
expensive and risky process. The program's significance
and results lie in the fact that students are provided a
forum for exceptional work, unique challenges, and
research experience.The objectives of the workshop are
to update the students on following procedures:
· The current trend of toxicological studies which is
important in identification of unsafe compounds in
the initial preclinical phase
· Methods to study the in-vivo behaviour of drug
molecules and monitors the effects and the predicted
outcomes proposed for the drug.
· The importance and recent trends in clinical research.

Today's competitive era needs a high degree of knowledge
for the students. This should not be limited to their own
syllabi while it must be groomed by practical exposure,
current improvements and many more. To achieve this
workshops are organized. Here the theme of workshop
i.e. “Importance of Quality Assurance in different
