About the Institute
ANAND PHARMACY COLLEGE is one of the leading
institute of Gujarat established in 1998 by Shri
Ramkrishna Seva Mandal. The institute is conducting All India Council for Technical Education
(AICTE), New Delhi approved courses since 1998.
The institute is accredited by NAAC-UGC with CGPA
2.68. Anand Pharmacy College offers B.Pharm,
M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Quality
Assurance, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical
Technology & Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
and Ph.D. courses. The institute regularly invites
learned and eminent academicians, industrialists
and dignitaries to deliver lectures and create an
environment of enthusiasm and zeal among students and staff members for educational excellence.
How to reach milk city of Gujarat?
The milk city Anand is one of the main nodes on the
Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway No. 8. The
Institute is situated in the heart of Anand city as a
part of Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal campus, near
an area known as Town hall, at a distance of about
3 kms from the Anand Railway Station. The transportation facility of bus, auto and taxi are regularly
available from railway/bus station since early morning till late mid night.
Preamble
Designing and writing of high quality clinical research protocol requires integrated scientific
thinking and writing, where things are interpreted
in more ways than one, which not only harms the
researcher intent but on a larger platform affects
the research also. A need is felt for a long time to
share appropriately what we are doing, why we
are doing and how we are doing in writing of clinical research protocol and to improve the basic
skills of writing a scientific clinical research protocol.
This workshop will be designed in the form of 35%
presentation, 30% discussion, and 35% individual
and group exercises using examples of clinical
study protocols and case problems. Thus, same
shall enable each one of the participant to discuss,
share and clarify various such issues like using a
structured approach to build in quality of the protocol, developing the logic of the protocol, organizing the protocol, writing clear and precise instructions, revising documents with a clear focus.
Objective
The objective of the workshop is to provide and
raise the level of awareness and understanding for
quality and quality standards in pharmaceutical
communication and to introduce and implement
writing practices that help increase efficiency and
document quality with reference to clinical research protocols. The researchers will be imparted
intensive knowledge on key elements of research
like effective clinical research methodology, executing research ideas, writing clinical research proposals, advances in thrust areas and techniques.
Resource persons
Eminent resource persons from the academia and industry will deliver in-depth
information in the scientific sessions.
