About CSI, Surat Chapter
Accommodation
CSI, Surat chapter is one of the old chapters of CSI in the state of Gujarat. The
chapter has professionals from various industries in addition to academicians.
It has 3 student branches, and are very active in conducting programs for the
benifits of the students. Under its reputed banner, it has a rich history of
organizing many activities individually as too in association with other
agencies like IEI, NIT (Surat) and NASSCOM.
At prior request, participants will be provided accommodation on twin-sharing
and chargeable basis.
About the College
Narmada College of Computer Application (NCCA), Bharuch is an excellent
example of industry institute interface. The college established in the year 1999
is an initiative of professional management of Gujarat Narmada Valley
Fertilizers Corporation Limited (GNFC) and is managed by Narmada
Education and Scientific Research Society (NEST). A beautiful natural
campus in 16 acres of land has been developed over this period of time on the
bank of river Narmada, Zadeshwar on National Highway No. 8, 6 kms. from
the historical city of Bharuch. The institute is self financed, approved by
AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University,
Ahmedabad.
About the Course
Teaching students is a very noble profession. Teachers are expected to have
excellent knowledge and also the skill to make that knowledge reach the minds
of the students. Teachers are expected to make students learn and ignite an
inspiration amongst them so that they can think beyond what is learnt. It is
highly necessary that students are first attracted to attend the classes and
secondly in classes are kept attentive and awakened enough to grasp the
concepts. The FDP intends to enrich the lecture delivering skills of teachers so
that the lectures become more attractive and attentive. The FDP intends to
discuss, elaborate and execute various active teaching learning strategies for
meeting this requirement. The FDP will also provide a platform to teachers to
interact with peers and experts and come out with various „good‟ as well as
„active‟ practices that could be followed in pursuit of this noble profession.
The course is intended for an audience comprising of faculties only. All the
participants will be awarded with the Participation Certificate of FDP.

Deans, Principals and Directors of reputed institutions will be engaging the
sessions. A selected few specials sessions will also be engaged by reputed
Entrepreneurs, Industrialists and Parents to convey their expectations from the
teaching fraternity.

In order to just cover the working expenses for the One Week FDP, a fees of
Rs. 1000/- per participant is required towards registration. Registration Fees
include charges for Programme Kit, Study Material, Lunch and Snacks & Tea.
Payment can be made through Cash, Cheque or preferably through DD drawn
in favor of “Narmada College of Computer Application”, payable at
Bharuch. The back side of DD/Cheque should bear the name of applicant
along with the institution name. Fees once paid, will be non-refundable but
transferable. The Registration Form and e-Brochure of the FDP can also be
downloaded from the following URL: www.ncca.ac.in/fdp_ncca.html. The
Registration Forms completely filled in all respects along with DD/Cheque can
be sent to above mentioned address. Kindly superscribe the envelope with
“Registration Form for FDP”. The completed Registration Forms with
DD/Cheque Details can also be sent through email to [email protected],
to smoothen the registration process. Registrations will be done on First Come
First Served basis. The last date for registration is 17-Apr-2013.
