About the Trust
Bapu Gujarat Knowledge Village (BGKV) is a
technical campus that consists group of institutes of
Pharmacy (M.Pharm and B.Pharm) and Technology
(ME, BE and Diploma).
BGKV is promoted and managed by the Shankersinh
Vaghela Bapu Charitable Trust (SVBCT). The Managing
Trustee, Hon. Shri Shankersinh Vaghela, Leader of
Opposition – Gujarat Assembly & MLA (Kapadwanj),
Former Chief Minister of Gujarat State, and Cabinet
Minister of Textile Industries, Govt. of India, and a
hugely popular leader is known for his pioneering
efforts aimed at societal development.
The Bapu Gujarat Knowledge Village spread in 40 acre
land at Vasan, Gandhinagar with its all stone architecture,
lush verdant woods and l a n d s c a p e d gardens
p r o v i d e s an idyllic environment to engage in
pharmaceutical studies, academics and learning.
BGKV’s institutes strive to achieve excellence through

About the Institute
Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Technology is
established in 2009 and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi
and affiliated to GTU, Ahmedabad. Since its
inception the institute has built its base of highly
accomplished faculty, world class infrastructure that
facilitates excellence in teaching, research, consulting and
others professional activities and motivate student body to
emerge as one of the premier institute for engineering

research
promoting
technical
excellence in the country.

The college building has High Tech Laboratories
including Sophisticated Instrument Lab, Class Rooms,
Tutorial Rooms, Auditorium, and Seminar Hall. The college

Computer Lab. is networked with seam less Internet
connectivity.
About the Seminar
The language of an image is universal. Images were
means of communicating information in ancient days.
Even today, although people from different parts of the
world speak in different languages, an image conveys
almost the same universal meaning to all. With the rapid
development of modern computer technologies and with
the increasing attempt in getting information at ones
fingertips, the importance of communication of information
using images cannot be ignored.
The fields of digital image processing and computer vision
are fast growing. The seminar is going to deal on the
recent applications in Image Processing, the role of
Computational Intelligence in Image Processing and
Digital Steganography.
